After only a short time here at dA, I've come to learn that the folks here are so kind and generous. Your comments are always so uplifting and inspire me to write more. I hope that I'll come to know you guys well, and through the story, you'll come to know me and my characters. I look forward to the journey ahead.
.Update.
I have now released the Prologue and the first chapter of my story. As of yet, it remains unnamed, but I hope to remedy that soon. The second chapter (shame on me) isn't done yet, but it is in the works and should be done soon.
However, there are some questions I have for you guys.
1. Does the chapter summary help? Does it clarify what happened?
2. Should I define complex words and phrases used in the chapter in the description?
.Clarification.
Just to be absoloutely clear, this story is NOT based on the firebringer trilogies or the like. I've only read one of the series (shame on me), and I hope the ideas of this story do not blend with it. From what I've read, the Firebringer books center around far-seeing, which this story does not. The first chapter does indeed involve a young, naive, skinny fortune teller, but that is a single character, which has special talents.
I hope you do not liken the story to Merideth Ann Pierce's wonderful books of Jan the unicorn, however like in species they are.
.To-do.
